How AssiStep Works

Going Up

  1. Move the handle an arm's length forwards and upwards. Your arms should be fully extended.
  2. Now take a step up the stairs.
  3. Repeat this for each step. 

Going Down

  1. Lift the outer edge of the handle slightly.
  2. With the handle raised, push the handle a full arm away from you.
  3. After you have put down the handle and it is locked, you can take a step down.
  4. Repeat this for each step.

Locking Mechanism

The patented locking mechanism on the AssiStep prevents the user from sliding or falling down the stairs. As soon downward pressure is applied to the handle, the handle locks in place, preventing the user from falling or sliding down the stairs if they happen to slip or misstep.
